If you wish to be removed from our list, email < Remove@CharlotteEagle.com > IF YOU ARE AN AOL CUSTOMER and not receiving our blast's then it is probably due to AOL's aggressive bulk mail blocking. We are currently working through the long process of getting our address on their "white list" which will ensure our mail to you bypasses their spam/bulk filters. In some cases I am told by AOL security experts the application process can take as long as 90 days! In the meantime, add < CharlotteEagle@CharlotteEagle.com > to your contacts list and insure we are not showing up in your spam folder. Additionally you can email AOL's support department and advise them that they are blocking email you have specifically requested to receive. HotMail, Yahoo, Road Runner etc.. do this occasionally but not nearly as much as AOL. As you can imagine, approximately 2/3s of our 2500+ subscribers are AOL customers. (Yes it's true, the gay community built the internet!) If you use any 3rd party spam filtering software, check to ensure we are not blocked and add us to your approved sender list. We regret any problems you may encounter in receiving our announcements. It is VERY frustrating for us as we diligently supervise our mailing list to comply with all the industry standards regarding spam, bulk mail, privacy and security.
